Wow, it's been kinda.... hectic, these last few days. D ended up calling me early Sun. morning informing me that he was on his way out here. He ended up staying until this afternoon, and it was an emotional past few days but for the most part it was very...nice. I really enjoyed seeing him and Amaya "bonding" together. (Oh, and for those who know the story of possibly D, possibly Allen... I'm 99.9% sure that D is her father. Their ears are IDENTICAL, I was glancing back and fourth and comparing, and it like... shocked me. I still plan on taking a paternity test with Allen in the future, to be 100%, but I already know who her father is.)
Amaya is getting bigger and bigger. She smiled a couple times at me today!! D said that he smiled with him last night while he was watching her too. She has been eating 4oz every feeding, but I think I have to move her up to about 5 because she's been fussing lately, and I end up having to feed her 2 extra oz. 30 min. after I feed her. She's supporting her head a little better now, and she makes more little noises. She grunts aalll the time though! It's kinda cute.
Amaya is one month today! Yay! I have to pick a place to take a picture of her, and take the picture in the same spot every month so I can compare them. She's starting to follow things/people with her eyes, and make little noises sometimes. She can stand on her legs for like 5 seconds if you hold her hands. She also learned how to straighten out them legs, and push herself up off of things (like the edge of her changing table.. which pisses me off while I'm trying to change her, lol). No real change in sleep, or feedings.. besides she's can usually take 4 oz. now.
Nothing much going on with me. I've been sticking to my diet, and walking daily. I wish I could just go to the gym and work up the sweat of a lifetime.. and FEEL the burn, lol. Ahh well it's ok though, it might be a slow process.. but I'm trying to make a lifestyle change, not just loose weight.
I started taking these B Vitamins too, and I think these with a combination of not eating any greasy foods, and drinking a lot of water, has my skin looking pretty healthy. I still have some blemishes from being pregnant, and my hormones being all messed up, but they are starting to fade away. I'm really starting to feel better about myself, and I can't wait until I finally reach all my goals.
I started my "diet/exercise" plan yesterday. Basically I'm just going to eat totally healthy, and drink nothing but water.. and occasionally milk. I walked for 45 min. yesterday, and 20 min. today. I was going to do another 20 min. after I ate dinner, but my feet are kinda sore, and I don't want to over do it... and be completely sore tomorrow. I also rented a Tae Bo DVD from Netflix, so I will start alternating between that and walking everyday. My 6 week checkup is on Aug. 15th, so I'll find out how much I've lost since my last weigh in while I was pregnant. I'm proud of myself for even sticking to what I said I would yesterday, and today... but I would like to see myself doing this more long term before I get really excited. Soo yeah, good luck to me!
